How does BRIDGE-MLS integrate with other NorCal MLS Alliance systems?

BridgeMLS is fully integrated into the NORCAL MLS Alliance as a “deep” reciprocal data share, not merely reciprocal login access. The practical effect is that bridgeMLS can remain your home MLS while its Paragon or connectMLS database contains listings originating in the other Alliance MLSs.

How it works

The NORCAL MLS Alliance consists of these core MLS organizations:

• BridgeMLS

• Bay East

• Contra Costa (CCAR)

• BAREIS

• MetroList

• MLSListings

• San Francisco (SFAR)

The Alliance takes data originating in the different MLS databases/platforms and maps/exchanges it so that users can work with the combined data from their native MLS system. The Alliance specifically described the technical work as integrating data from multiple technology platforms and resolving field/data inconsistencies.

For a bridgeMLS subscriber using Paragon, it essentially looks like this:

Listing entered into bridgeMLS Paragon→ bridgeMLS remains the originating/home MLS→ listing is distributed through the NORCAL Alliance data-share infrastructure→ it appears in the other participating MLS systems.

And in reverse:

SFAR / BAREIS / MetroList / MLSListings / Bay East / CCAR listing→ NORCAL Alliance exchange→ mapped into the combined dataset→ appears inside your bridgeMLS Paragon or connectMLS search.

Bay East describes this as both a “Single Point of Entry” and a “Single Search Point.” Listings entered in Paragon display automatically across the participating systems, while users can search the expanded data directly in Paragon.
