How to Join an MLS Only Broker?
To hang your license with our Brokerage, simply reach out to our team by completing the contact form. Step 2 is to review and sign the independent contractor agreement. Step 3, Go to California DRE E-Licensing and find Colin Campbell Broker #01379805 to move over.
Fee to join and hang your license is only $175/year. This is Non-realtor Broker/ Nonrealtor Brokerage. As a member of this brokerage, you will be an active agent licensed to practice real estate in California.
Free Agent
You can have more independence and flexibility in your business. By joining MLS Only Brokerage, you can enjoy more freedom and control over your own career. You don’t have to follow the rules and regulations of NAR, CAR, and local association, which may not always align with your best interests or values. Dues cost up to, $1102 per year. You don’t have to deal with the bureaucracy and politics of these organizations, which can be frustrating and time-consuming. You don’t have to support their lobbying and political activities, which may not reflect your views or opinions. You can focus on serving your clients and growing your business without any interference or pressure from NAR, CAR, and local association. We stay licensed with the State of California and stay compliant with the state laws and statutes. A private trade group is not a requirement.
Forms
You can access forms, education, and MLS without being a member of NAR, CAR, and local association. One of the main benefits that NAR and CAR claim to offer is access to forms, education, and MLS. However, you can get these services elsewhere, often for free or at a lower cost. For example, you can use RPI forms, which are comprehensive, simple, and free to use. You can also find inexpensive, easy-to-navigate 45-hour courses in a multitude of places, including First Tuesday. As for MLS access, you can get it without being a member of NAR, CAR, and local association by joining an independent MLS or paying a fee to an MLS-only association.
